What a lovely weekend!

A good summer in England?? You really can't beat it ... everyone smiling - although some of them a bit delicate from sunburn by the time work comes around again after a weekend baking ;o) We never learn ... we need some of the old 'Slip, Slop, Slap' ad awareness like they do Down Under!

Friday night ... bottle of Veuve (de Vincent - only a tenner!) with Gem, then dinner and an early night (for a Friday!)

Saturday ... brunch at Trents with Claire, we were going to check out the new cafe at Pallant House Gallery, but a slight change of plan. PM went to the Real Ale and Jazz Festival with a couple of friends - really, really funky and cool. Funky Butt Jazz Band - highly recommended! Then a chinese and another early night!!

Sunday ... Race for Life at Weald and Download Open Air Museum. Supporting not participating on this occasion. PM shopping at Gun Wharf with Sarah - v good bargains lovely lunch on the quayside at Ha! Ha! Bar too. mmmmmm

Another quiet night on Sunday too ... just what the doc ordered; some much needed RnR!!

Had a brilliant day at work on Monday - revitalised and loving my new job!
