Saw two 'great movies' over the weekend ..

Bit slow to catch on, previous attempts to watch this have been scuppered by unforeseen circumstances, but finally got to watch The Motorcycle Diaries - and boy, was it worth the wait.

Totally amazing film; I was drawn in by the scenery, the relationship between Ernesto and Alberto, their fascinating journey from Buenos Aries to Venezuela and the 'icing on the cake', the admirable work they did at San Pablo Leper Colony.

It was incredible touching; the people they met on the way and their lives was a test of the human spirit against all odds, in many cases.

I was so inspired, I am now planning a trip to Machu Picchu ...
