tw1tterband update

We received this email from Macmillan Cancer Support this week:

Dear friends at Twitterband

We’d like to say a massive thank you for raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Your support is vital to help improve the lives of people living with cancer and their families.

As I’m sure you know, Macmillan Cancer Support provides practical, medical, emotional and financial support, and pushes for better cancer care both nationally and locally. We want to be able to reach everyone who is diagnosed with cancer and to be there for them at every stage of their cancer journey, no matter who they are, what part of the country they live in, or what type of cancer they have.

Over the past 100 years, we have achieved many great things for people affected by cancer. But we’re not about to rest on our laurels. We must continue to build on our achievements, finding new ways to give people the support they so desperately need. That’s why we’d like you to make a special effort to raise funds in our centenary year. Remember – if you give it 100%, we can change thousands more lives.

We’re here for you all the way for any help and advice on fundraising. Our website is packed with facts and information and if you need inspiration our Little green book of fundraising ideas is crammed full of fantastic tips. Get your fundraising event noticed with eye-catching materials and Macmillan branded merchandise through be.macmillan.org.uk, or contact your local fundraising office. Thanks again for your valuable support.

Yours sincerely
