Got my promotion. Yay! What a relief! I am now a "Business Planning and Performance Management Officer" - corporate headhunters form an orderly queue now please ;o)

Not so good news for everyone though - big, big shake up. End result will be worth it, shame that some great people won't be a part of it. But that's modern living; no job's a given any more - not even local government.
