That is the $64,000 question I guess. Nothing much really happens of any note so is it worth continuing to post crappy little entries? Am I even vaguely amusing, entertaining or enlightening ...?
And then Mackrel, the Lomo-loving fellow Blogger, gave me a friendly, virtual shoulder joshing 'insisting' I carry on, so I owe it to him at least :o)
So here goes .... this month I have mainly been 'moving on' - well that's my private life neatly dealt with!
Current fave foods:
- Butternut Squash
- Dukkah
- Hummus - how many bloody ways are there to spell this darn word?? (this is the 'official' version from Answers.com)
- Rare, bloody, steak (well, not so much recently - but I thought the list was making me look like a veggie who swears sometimes ...)
Current fave music:
- Caesars 'Jerk It Out' - performing at Bar Academy Islington next Monday ... and yes, it is that track from the iPod Shuffle ad
- haRd-fI 'Tied Up Too Tight' - Zane Lowe has been 'biggin' them up'. The god has spoken, arguing is futile ;o) Nice, new school punky feel, reminiscent of The Clash
- Gorillaz 'Feel Good inc.' - makes me feel good, so lovin' that track right now
Current fave activities:
- Boxercise
- Gym - now I know there are two DIFFERENT thigh abductor machines I can finally complete my programme ... honest, they look exactly the same
- Pilates - we all need a little inner calm in our lives, and core stability to die for ;o)
- Tennis - well, it is Summer now isn't it??
- New Park Cinema - recently saw 'Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou'. Awesome movie, loved everything about it!!
- Absolutely bloody nothing ... my fave pastime, perhaps with a little daydreaming thrown in for good measure
Current money drainers:
- Going out - very much linked to the 'moving on' comment above
- Good food
- Books - latest purchase is the absolute, coffee table essential, Charles Darwin's 'The Origin of Species'. How pretentious huh?! It was 50p, and for charity, how could I resist
- Mobile phone - how is my bill that much????????
Topical comment ...
Debbity Dawg on the Pope: yep, shame he's dead, wish the press would shut up about him being 'the most travelled Pope in history'. Well, that is hardly going to be a great feat to achieve given the fact that has been 'in post' for the past 26 years where world travel has developed enormously! You were never going to cover that kind of mileage on an old jallopy were you or a carriage hand-pulled by willing Cardinals!
Debbity Dawg on Charles and Camilla: why shouldn't they wed and have a long and happy marriage together? None of them (Charles, Camilla or Diana) were angels, sick of people putting Diana up on a pedestal, beyond criticism and painting Camilla as the 'evil mistress'. Let them get on with their lives ... you don't know them, only what trashy tabloids tell you about them so break the mould and be happy for someone in this world!
Debbity Dawg on the General Election: 5th May? oh right, I'll look out for it .... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Until next time ......
