D-Day: Sunday 24 October 2004

Will this prove to be a day of celebration for the Gooners hoping for their 50th straight unbeaten game??? Or will Ruud and Rooney spoil the party? After last night's display, it could be tears before bedtime for the Wenger Boys ....... I would happily wager in favour of the Devils.

Some say Fenerbahce (might need to brush up on your Turkish for the club site) are a weak side, some say not - at the end of the day, you cannot deny that Wayne was in a class of his own.

Something about playing for a BIG team on the BIG occasions that just seems to bring out the best in him; Euro 2004 was testament to this fact .....

Still work to be done in defence - some terrifying gaps, resulting in the two Turkish goals last night. They've got about a month to sort it out, and by then Rooney might just be feeling a little more settled ......

How was the exam then? Any good/bad feelings upon completion? Relieved?

The pieman was impressive yesterday, but Utd fans shouldn't get too excited, remember Djemba-Djemba and Bellion are still amongst some very ordinary players in this side.....
